Milah's first birthday

It is so hard to believe this past Sunday, August 3, 2014 our beautiful little granddaughter turned a year old.  Sarah and Miles had a big shin dig for her at a clubhouse on a lake.  It was beautiful!  Milah had a great day and was very blessed.  Time is going by so fast.  It just seems like yesterday that Sarah and Miles told us they were having a baby and now, we just celebrated her first birthday.  We are blessed to have her, she is a a joy and brings much happiness into our lives.

Birthdays

Today we celebrated my mom's and my birthday.  Sarah and Bill made chicken and steak kabobs and a friends of my mom's made us a carrot cake.  It was a great day with family.  Sadly no pictures though, how sad is that, lol.  I am not a great one to have my picture taken, but we should of taken a few.  Oh well always next year.  Happy Birthday Mom, love you so much.
Thank you Sarah and Bill!

Fourth of July 2014

Hello friends and family!  As you can see, I am not a great blogger at all.  I want to start keeping up and blog more often.  I guess I think to that Facebook really keeps people up to date with what's going on.

Well I hope everyone had a lot of fun yesterday.  We had Little Willy all day which was a blast.  We got him some fireworks and he was so excited to shoot off his fireworks.  we would go outside from time to time and he would pick out what he wanted and off Papa and I would go with him to shoot them off.  If he had his way they would have been done all at once.  He could hardly keep still he was so happy and excited.
this was the first year in quite sometime that our neighborhood really showed the fireworks off.  The sky was full of color and the crackling and popping were very loud.  We were glad to see it.

Our one dog Rocky had a really rough time of it though.  It scared him quite a bit, but he made it through like a trooper, lol.

I think today, Bill and I are going to work in our one shed and get all our camping stuff to one side of the shed. Weare going camping the end of August and part of the week we will be taking Little man.  We can hardly wait.  Need to get away and have some fun.

Well-everyone have a great day!

Merry Christmas

Well I think the Hamiltos survived Christmas once again. Should Isay it was a little crazy, Yes indeed it was. I really worked on that everytime purchases were made thst I wrPped them that evening so thst I did not hVe a build up gifts to wrap Christmas Eve, and it worked! Theonly thing I did find out is that I missed a gift to Sarah and a whole bunch of stocking stuffers. Oh well iswaslike having another Christmas for some of the family members. We had a new addition this year, our granddaughter Milah. She is 4 months old now. Her first Christmas. Sarah and Miles and of course Milah came for a Christmsd Eve dinner, because it was Mile 's families turn to have them for Christmas. We all had a great time except I did not get one picture of Milah, she fell asleep right after dinner. Oh well, next year we will have to do better.
We had our grandson Willy, and to say hewas excited is an understatement. He was all over the place and did know what to open first. Shat joy to see him open his gifts and to see his face. He told us he was a good boy, because Santa gave him a lot of toys. He was correct, he was a good boy and yes he did get a lot of gifts.

Christmas morning, Bill, Will and I opened our gifts to each other and went to my mom's for the rest of the day. It was a good day and a blessed Christmas we truly did have.

2013 had some really rough times, but it also had it's blessings! The main one was the birth of Milah. She was for sure a miracle baby. God for sure heard Mile's and Sarah's prayers and blessed them with a beautiful baby girl. To say she is a miracle is an understatement. She has given this family much joy and happiness.

My mom wrote and had published her first children's book thstwas published by Guidepost and sold on Amazon, ebooks and is in Barnes and Noble. It was.such an accomplishment. The book came out just in time for Christmas and within the first two weeks totally sold out on Amazon and had to put another order in.

Well I am sure there is more to tell, but it is 2:34 in the morning and I should try to get some sleep.

Night night from the Hamiltons!

How Time Flies!

Let me tell you, the phrase "How Time Flies" is so true. It for sure goes by before you k ow it.

I have been I'll since February 2011 with not a whole lot of relief. Can hardly believe it will be a year this coming February and they don't k ow what is going on. I have applied for medical help been waiting to hear. The state has a lady turned me down, but they have another program that they felt I would qualify for. It took me two months to get the paper work filled it out over a week ago and sent it in right before our Family Christ as vacation. Prayerfully I will find favor and It will be approved.

Bill's family had a loss, their Mom passed away a few weeks ago. Thanksgiving weekend he and the kids and their spouses traveled over there for the memorial service. I kept our grandson most of the weekend and his other grandma took him also. We thought it would be easier so the traveling would be easier. The best thing out of it is she is in a lot better place than we are. She is in heaven with the Lord and with her daughter and parents.

This is it for today. Will be back tomorrow to do some more catching up.

Well time got away from me

Hello everyone!

Wow, I can hardly believe that a month has gone by already since my last posting.  So much going on.  I am still pretty much home bound.  I do go out to go shopping but it takes everything out of me.  Which of course that does not make it fun at all.  Since my last blog, Bill and I had our 30th Anniversary, so hard to believe.  He got for me a beautiful Anniversary ring, I love it so much.  Sarah's birthday  was this last Friday the 24th of June, I cannot believe she turned 22.  As a mom of course I have to say I just remember when I brought her home from the hospital right after she was born.  Sarah and Miles had their graduation for LI at our church and they both now are Licensed Ministers.  We are so proud of both of them.  It was a long 4 years and a lot of hard work, but they did it.  My mom's and my birthday are coming up in July.  Mom turns 75 and I turn 50.  Fifty years old, now that is crazy.  I told everyone, it better be a big party and lot's of gifts, big gifts.  Think I am joking, nope I am not I mean it.  LOL.

Physically, they still cannot find out what is wrong with me.  I am so frustrated and tired.  All the coughing and straining to talk.  I get up to do things and I feel like I am gasping for breath just to breathe.  No fun at all.  I also have developed a swelling in my legs and feet called Lymphademia.  I am retaining a lot of fluid, and they don't know why that is happening either.  I started PT and the therapist feels that I am at least hold 30 pounds of fluid in my legs, crazy huh.  The whole thing is exhausting me.

Of course our little guy Willy, our grandson is doing great.  He is so cute and such a smart guy.  He is crawling all over the place, and he pulls himself up and stands.  Will and Hilary are doing great.  Will awhile back was promoted to cashier and he seems to like it.  He is a hard worker, we are so proud of him.  Hilary is so sweet.
Bill went out of town again this weekend to Eastern WA to see his parents, especially his mom.  Will, Hilary and the little one are taking care of me he is gone.

Well I am sure I can type a bunch of more stuff, but I am going to try to attach some pictures.  Ta Ta for Now.

Time goes by to fast!

So, time is flying by.  Monday the 30th of May was Bill's and my Anniversary.  We have been married 30 years, WOW.  It is sometimes so hard to believe.  Tuesday our son and his wife and our grandbaby came over and had a beautiful floral arrangement and card.  Late Wednesday night our daughter and her husband stuffed by with an anniversary gift.  They had a wooden crate with chocolates, potato chips, a bottle of wine and wind glasses.  Both sets of kids are great, we love then so much and are so proud of them.  All I can say is 30 years, wow, wow, and wow.
